ShiftKita is built with a local-first architecture. All your business operational data is saved directly within your device's local storage (using an internal SQLite database), comprising:
Name of your business, cafe, store, or operational branch.
Staff list, roles/skills, and active member statuses.
Shift types, work hours, rotations, and operational rules.
Availability records, leaves, time-off, and team schedules.
We do not collect, upload, or transmit any of the operational data above to any remote servers. You maintain total, independent control over your business data locally on your physical device.
Third-Party Services & Automated Data Collection
This application integrates official third-party SDKs from Google to process transactions and serve ads on the free tier:
Google Play In-App Billing (In-App Purchases)
- Used to process the purchase of the Ad-Free upgrade (ShiftKita Pro).
- All transaction processing, payment authorization, and invoicing are handled directly by Google Play Store systems.
- We never receive, view, or store your financial details or payment methods.
Google AdMob (Advertisements)
- Used to display banner advertisements for users on the free tier.
- This service may collect and process device information, such as Google Advertising ID (GAID), coarse IP location, and ad interaction metrics for fraud prevention and relevant ad delivery.
- AdMob data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Device Permissions
ShiftKita requests only permissions that are strictly necessary to perform its functions:
Data Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent user operational data or personal information to any third parties.
Data exchange occurs solely between your physical device and Google servers for the purposes of Play Store purchase verification and AdMob advertisement delivery as detailed in Section 2.

Because operational data resides strictly within your local device, data security depends directly on your device's physical protections (such as PIN, biometrics, or full-disk encryption).
Age Limitations (Children's Privacy)
ShiftKita is designed for business owners, store managers, and workplace professionals. The application is neither intended for nor directed towards children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
